In 1963, after ten years of sole proprietorship, Master Craft Engineering was incorporated with 16,000 square feet of operational space in Belleville, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.
In 1980, the combined operational facilities in Master Craft plants covered more than 150,000 square feet on 59 acres. John Haswell, the company's founder continues as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Haswell's youngest son, James Haswell, now serves as President and CEO.
Master Craft's Belleville plant was sold in 1987 to concentrate manufacturing and administration in one location. In Tifton, Georgia, two adjoining modern facilities offer more than 85,000 square feet of combined manufacturing and office space.
Since 1979, Tifton has been headquarters of the entire Master Craft operation. Both Georgia facilities are expandable to meet the growing needs of the industrial south.
Besides the production of metal stampings, welded assemblies, tools, dies, powder coating, etc., Master Craft Industrial Corp. offers a complete line of Construction and Industrial Equipment.
